Happy Thanksgiving, friends! My hope was to post at least a few new recipes before thanksgiving but all the sickness my family and I endured the last two weeks, left little time for exploring in the kitchen. Instead I’m simply going to show you some recipes I’m trying today and tomorrow. Minimalist Baker’s recipes are typically winners in my book. I’m doing her Butternut Squash Casserole, and possibly her cheesecake recipe if I have time. Plus I’m in charge of the salad so I couldn’t resist my own Wilted Spinach Salad. Just typing that made me salivate. Lastly, I made this Paleo Pumpkin Pie last night and it’s delicious. The only alterations I made were adding a pinch of all spice and ginger. We’ll see how it sizes up to the traditional tomorrow at our family gathering.
